Meet Halston, an enthusiastic personal trainer that focuses on on-demand & online training. Growing up, Halston always enjoyed exercising and helping people around him, to achieve their goals. In high school he worked out so much, his teammates would joke that he would hide in a bathroom stall with a dumbbell. His passion for fitness continued in college, but due to financial reasons, he took some time off and joined the military.
Once he joined the Air Force, his love for fitness took a back seat, to a career path in IT. Upon getting out of the military, he graduated college with a computer information system degree. From there he worked in oil and gas and for a hospital, but none made him truly happy. Halston stated, "Instead of supporting the hospital, I want to keep people out of the hospital.” He then decided to go back to school for personal training, to follow his dreams by helping people meet their fitness goals. Halston plans to offer his new hybrid training program next year. He says, "It consolidates nutrition & workout tracking, to help clients stay consistent & accountable.”
During a 2009 deployment to Afghanistan, as a member of the United States Air Force, Halston learned the value of physical fitness. He developed the physical and mental traits necessary to lead clients into a healthier lifestyle. Halston earned a diploma from the National Personal Training Institute and continues to further his education.
